Easy ways to Lose Weight

Today, lets talk about simple and easy ways to lose weight.

Weight loss journey doesn’t seem simple for many people. All this happens because we want changes to be quick, we want it all here and now, but instead of at once, radically shifting all your eating habits and exercising routine, let’s find some simple small steps that you can implement daily to finally achieve the desired figure:

1) Walk for 40 minutes a day. Walking doesn’t seem to be difficult and can be included into out every day life very easily, if we just, instead of hopping in the car, walk couple of extra miles. Why 40 minutes and not 25 minutes? Well, certain researches show that exercising or walking beyond 30 minutes can not only prevent weight gain, but also help burn fat and, therefore, help lose weight. This insignificant change in our daily life can result in losing extra 30 pounds a year, without even changing the way you currently eat.

2) Eat 6 meals a day instead of 3 usual big meals, this way, you will feel less hungry and will boost your metabolism, which will result in “easy and natural” weight loss. Some studies show that, if you start eating this way, not only your stomach will become smaller, so that you will be satisfied with less food, but also your body will release less insulin, which will keep blood sugar steady and you will feel less hungry.

3) Cut down the amount of high-calorie foods…and I’m not talking about depriving yourself of your favorite chips, chocolate or cakes, because depriving yourself completely from the things you like demands really strong will and can result in “emotional or rebellious eating”. My point here is that you need to “treat” yourself from time to time; but when you want some ice-cream, for example, put a spoonful of it into the bowl of fresh fruits, or if you love cheese, add some of it into the plate filled with salad and fresh vegetables. Like this you will balance the food you eat and you figure will say “thank you”.

4) Avoid sugary drinks. Make water your primary drink throughout the whole day. Not only soft drinks are loaded with sugar and calories, but also, soft drinks don’t trigger the sense of fullness, they “provoke” hunger instead. It’s alright to drink coffee or fresh juice in the morning, but then, throughout the rest of the day – focus on water. There are not enough words that can describe how great water is for your body and how much goodness it can bring to your system.

5) Brush your teeth after your meals, or if you eat 6 meals a day, brush teeth 3 times a day, especially after dinner; this will be a clear “signal” to your body and brain that the eating time is over and fresh, minty sent in your mouth will prevent you from going to kitchen and getting additional “bite”.

6) One of the easy ways to lose weight is – make it a habit to dress up beautifully, especially if you go out to dinner with your friends of family; this way, you will get many compliments and will be encouraged in your quest to be in better shape. Baggy clothes can place you into the dangerous place of oblivion in regards to what and how much you eat.

7) Healthy snacks. Discover some healthy snacks that you enjoy the most and keep them in your purse in case you are hungry. Actually, fruits are the best snacks for anyone who desires to eat healthy and be in great shape. For example, good snacks and healthy foods to lose weight fast are: strawberries, cherries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, apples, pears, grapes, apricots, peaches, figs…they are packed with vitamins and antioxidants.

Bananas, dry fruits and nuts are also nutritionally dense and filling. All this healthy snacks are a power house of energy and can be very handy when you are on the go. Forgot to mention the low fat yogurt, which is also a very healthy snack, because the calcium in low fat diary foods boosts the breakdown of fat in the body.

8) Eat the most of your calories before noon, because you will have the whole day ahead of you to burn them. Also, studies have shown that if you eat healthy “good” breakfast – you will be less hungry and eat less food in the evening.

9) Serve yourself less food (or smaller portions) and you will eat less, it’s that simple! Cut down the size of your portions and order smaller versions of food while eating out. If you are ordering a sandwich – get a smaller one, the same goes for small popcorn, small salad and small smoothy. Studies have shown that we tend to eat what’s in front of us, even if we could be full with less. Most people, actually, eat far far mote than their bodies need. So, if we consciously start to control the size and “prepare” our portions, we can easily and quickly lose weight with no effort. You can also downsize your dinner plates, glasses and mugs, so that less food and liquid will enter your plate and, therefore, you will eat less.

10) Always eat slowly. Great French eating culture – habit of eating slowly, enjoying every bite, talking with the partner and sipping water or wine while eating, results in the fact that French people are, usually, always in great shape and are very rarely overweight. Because while you eat your brain gets the signals of fullness only in about 20 minutes from when you started your meal.

Reason for Drinking Plenty of water

The reasons for drinking water are limitless. Water is life and without it there is no survival, literally. Personally, in order to do something on a regular basis, I need to know the reason why I do it, otherwise I’m not very motivated. Drinking plenty of water became my everyday habit. I started to love drinking water, because I know the tremendous benefits of making this fluid of life my main and favorite everyday beverage. Let’s talk about reasons for drinking water regularly…

1) Water is a necessity not only for the beauty and health of our body but also for our survival, because a person can live less than a week without water, while without food – more than a month.

2) Drinking water is essential for the proper functioning of the body and circulation, because water is a primary transportation mode for all the minerals, vitamins and nutrients in the body.

3) Drinking water helps to boost the metabolism and regulate the appetite, and thus, to maintain healthy weight.

4) Dehydration can lead to headache, low energy levels and fatigue, this is why drinking water is essential for being efficient and energetic.

5) Water hydrates the organism, as well as keeps our skin healthy looking and clean, this is why the beauty of our skin depends on drinking water.

6) Drinking water is necessary for our digestive process.

7) Your body consists of about 80% of water and if you loose even 1% of it, you will feel big thirst.

8) Water is the main source of energy for our brain and body.

9) Your blood needs water to create new healthy cells, because your blood is more than 80% water. And actually, every cell of your body requires water to function properly (the brain cells are also included).

10) Water is the fluid that moves waste out of your system and helps to eliminate toxins. So, drink more of it!

11) Drinking water helps to balance the temperature of our body.

12) Water boosts our immune system and helps it to stay strong and, thus, drinking water can prevent many illnesses and help us to stay healthy.

13) Pure water is the healthiest, the most natural and the most beneficial beverage in the world, it doesn’t have any side effects, nor any calories :) .

14) Many people eat when they are actually only thirsty. If you drink plenty of water regularly - you can easily distinguish and separate those two different feelings: hunger and thirst.

15) Water is a natural remedy form headache, because migraines, for example, are often caused by dehydration.

The list of reasons for drinking water can go on and on…Thus, we understood that drinking this fluid of life has abundant benefits and is very necessary for the healthy functioning of your body.

Some people advise to drink 8 glasses of water a day, while others suggest to drink 1,5-2 litters. I would recommend to listen to the needs of your body and get a professional advice from your doctor.

Radiant Skin

When it comes to having radiant skin, many people spend tons of money to get their skin the way that want. Even spending the money does not ensure that you will get what you are looking for and you might find that you feel as though you have wasted good dollars chasing something that is never going to happen. These five things are simple, something you can easily do and won’t cost you a fortune.

1.      Dairy Items and Lemon

If you mix glucose into your freshly squeezed lemon juice you can make a face mask. You should use this two to three times a week to make a clean and healthy epidermis to your skin. You should massage the mask on and leave for at least then minutes before you remove it with cool water. You can add some olive oil for the hydration properties if you feel like your skin is getting dried out.

4.      Buttermilk
This type of milk produces lactic acidity that conditions the skin. You will find the properties of buttermilk are actually the same as the most expensive creams on the market. The acidic properties eat away at the age spots and freckles on your face giving you a good conditioning. This is a natural chemical reaction that erases your age and helps you to get the radiant skin you have always wanted.

5.      Bread Relaxed in Milk
Set bread in milk overnight so that it totally breaks down. Then in the morning you can mash it up and rub it on trouble area of your face. This action with the yeast helps to breath new life into your skin and gives you a radiant glow overall. This is a particularly good solution if you have blackheads.

Adorable Feet

While your feet might be out of sight most of the time, when people can see them you want them to be beautiful. As you age, there are moisture problems all over your skin and your feet are no exception. With proper care you can get your feet looking younger and cuter than ever before. This means you can wear cute shoes and you never have to be scared of strappy sandals to go with your cute mini skirts.

1.      Regular Workouts
Many people don’t think about it, but stronger legs and a healthy body weight have lots do to with whether or not your feet are in good shape. If you are overweight your feet take a beating. They get pounded and tend to develop pressure points that can become cracks and even infections. Taking the time to workout will help strengthen your feet and give them a nice shape. At the same time you will be giving your legs a great shape leading down to your feet.

2.      Thin Legs
You don’t need your legs to be too thin, but the better your calves form into your feet, the better the look of your fancy shoes and your overall shape will be. It is fairly easy to see what you need to do in order to get the size ration right. Quite often the size of your feet dictate what your legs should look like overall. Doing yoga or other stretching exercises will help to strengthen your feet and your legs and elongate the muscles.

3.      Remove Unwanted Hair
As you age you tend to start growing hair in additional places including on your feet. This can mean your toes or the center of your foot. You should wax off such spots as to avoid embarrassment. It is simple to do and doesn’t take much time. It gives your feet a nice smooth look without making the hair follicles larger. Shaving tends to cause an uglier look to the feet.

4.      Massages
Foot and leg massages tend to help the muscles rejuvenate and release any bad chemicals. After a massage you should drink lots of water to help get all the toxins you release out of your system. This gives you muscles the ability to build properly and not be hindered by the bad stuff in your system. Eating right after a massage will give your muscles the building blocks they need to shape up and make your legs and feet look awesome.

5.      Foot Bath
 This is the way to get your feet in the best condition. It not only cleans your feet but loosens up your calluses so they can be scrubbed away. In many ways a foot bath is like a time machine for your feet. You can scrub away the bad history and start all over again making your feet look beautiful. You will want your feet in the water for at least 30 minutes.

6.      Moisturizer
Finally, keep your feet well moisturized. This means putting lotion on every night before you go to bed and then putting socks on. This locks in the moisture and helps to heal any ailing parts of your feet. You will wake up and you feet will feel smooth and rested as well.
